What are conjunctions?
In simple words, conjunctions are joining words. Conjunctions are the words that join two meaningful words or sentences or phrases together.
The words that join 2 sentences together are called conjunctions. Some examples of conjunctions are and, or, but, so, because, yet, if, until, still, etc.

because - It helps to join sentences with a reason.
if - It is used when there is a condition to be met.
until - It is used to show the time of events when something will happen.
so - It is used to show the result or effect of something.

Sample Worksheet 3:
The child needs to match the sentences with the appropriate conjunctions. The first part of the sentence is given on the left side and the second part of the sentence is given on the right side. The second part of the sentence starts with the conjunction word. The child needs to read the sentences and join the sentence with the correct conjunction. The below image is for reference.

A paragraph is given. The child needs to complete the paragraph by filling in the blanks with correct conjunctions.

Quick Summary
- Conjuntion is a joiner that joins or connects two meaningful sentences.
- And - Joins together. It helps to join similar ideas together.
- When 'and' is used to join 2 sentences certain words that are repeated are dropped.
